The flying wing is a great UAV choice for those areas where there is rough terrain, high winds, and/or little landing room.  It can be hand launched at full throttle with an impressive rate of climb-out to mission altitude.  On the other end of the flight, the Shaker AP is built to withstand the occasional "tree" landing or a stall into a small rough area.  The generous area in the center section of the Shaker AP allows plenty of padding to be added to protect sensitive cameras or other equipment required for the mission.

The Shaker AP is best suited with a cargo in the 1 to 3 pound range depending upon the propulsion system chosen.

This wing is perfectly capable of flying thermal imaging cameras, digital still, streaming video, or both. 

Depending on the battery selected, mission duration ranges 15 to 45 minutes which allows the operator to cover many square miles of geography on a single charge. Multiple battery packs kept as spares can be swapped into the aircraft in seconds, allowing the pilot and aircraft to get back on station rapidly and efficiently.  The wing is robust, yet small enough to be easily transported in most sedans or SUV's.  Also available is a custom portable crating system for storing and securing your aircraft when not being used for flight missions.  This wing was designed with the street-level law enforcement officer in mind, allowing for rapid deployment in urban areas.
