Our conventional fixed wing
design is called the Slipstream AVLifter series, and it is designed for long
range or high altitude missions. With a wingspan of up to 8 feet, this aircraft
is best used to lift heavier payloads for a prepared mission using adequate
takeoff and landing areas. The generous cargo area of the Slipstream can
accommodate up to 300 cubic inches of equipment, including the flight equipment
and batteries. The high aspect ratio of this plane's design gives it excellent
glide characteristics, and makes the best use of every watt of energy available
to the quiet yet powerful electric motor. This series is also available with an
internal combustion engine option. The Slipstream series of aircraft utilizes
infrared yaw and pitch control providing the pilot with a "self stabilizing"
feature, thus giving the pilot peace of mind in flight operations. |

Conventional Design |

 The
steerable nose gear gives excellent ground handling response and
control. Standard flight control configuration provides throttle,
ailerons (for left and right turning), and elevator (for up and down).
Rudder (tail steering) can be added if required.
The modular design of this
 aircraft
allows the user to break down the unit into a components transport box
which measures 48"x12"x12".
The Slipstream II utilizes
the same modular design as it's 'big brother' the Slipstream AVLifter,
but it boasts a smaller footprint.
 The
Slipstream II is a purpose built aircraft, designed expressly for aerial video and still photography uses. Equipped with an infrared pitch and yaw control, it
is a very stable, simple to fly, and efficient platform. It is designed
to accommodate most digital cameras, and can be equipped with streaming
video. The Slipstream II can also be configured with a custom carrying
case made of high impact ABS plastic or aluminum. Please contact us

system.
